Franklin Morales allowed three hits to go with three strikeouts in four scoreless innings on the mound for the Rockies. Jonathan Herrera went 2-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI for the victors.
Matt Cain started on the hill for the Giants, going three strong innings of three-hit ball. Aaron Rowand had two RBI for San Fran, while Ryan Rohlinger hit a three-run homer in the ninth to make things interesting.
